Historical ironwork is my speciality. I make reconstructions using archaeological finds or image material from Roman to Napoleonic times. Because of my university education I know how to do research and interpret my findings, coming to a better understanding of the making process and uses of historical artefacts. The processes used in creating these reconstructions are as close to the original ones as I can get. Fire welded means fire welded and modern equipment and techniques (drills, welders etc) are avoided. My historical work is in use in several European Open Air Museums, as well as numerous historical recreational groups. Please have a look at the images.
